Painting is ultimately about expressing the author’s feelings. Only by painting true feelings can emotions be conveyed. This is a simple thing, but the focus of painting cannot be immersed in the expression of details and structure. This will put the cart before the horse and complicate simple things.

Creative concept or direction:
I like realistic things, but this is different from hyper-realism like photos, because some reality is the intensification of personal feelings, which is more direct than photos. For example, making a good choice between virtual and real will amplify the important feelings.
I like pictures with brushstrokes. As traces of painting, brushstrokes also reflect personal emotions and painting status. Brushstrokes are accidental, and it is this contingency that makes me have unknown expectations for the finished effect when painting.
I like to express light and shadow, because light and shadow are the most real things that the eyes can see, and they are also the beauty that everyone can easily accept. Without light, there would be no painter, so I have always been committed to expressing the laws of light and shadow.I like to express old things, because I am nostalgic, and it brings me a sense of poignancy and time travel. Whenever I draw things from ancient photos, see the details of ancient people’s clothes or the details of surrounding scenes, I will have infinite reverie, and will bring myself into the scene at that time, to touch and touch things that are gone forever.
