Artistic Focus
2020–2022 (Undergraduate Focus): During their undergraduate studies, the artist focused on realistic portraiture. They utilized digital photography editing and composite techniques as a starting point, employing oil paint and mixed media to create works centered on depicting the expressions and atmosphere of figures. The goal was to articulate the invisible and inner psychological colors of the subjects.
2023–Present (Current Focus): Since 2023, the artist’s focus has shifted to the local landscapes and sceneries of Taiwan, particularly the connection between humanity and regional geography.
They record city corners from a microscopic perspective and document natural changes from a macroscopic viewpoint.
The artist translates real-life imagery to present their internal vision, thereby injecting new ideas into traditional landscape painting and excavating the parts of a visual scene that are deeply moving to the human heart.
