Rukiye Garip

Rukiye Garip is a watercolor artist born in 1964 in Bartin, Turkey. She graduated from the painting department of Gazi University and went on to teach painting for 20 years before retiring. In 2014, she completely transi- tioned to watercolor, having previously worked in various techniques such as oil, pastel, and charcoal. Her work has been included in 98 international group exhibitions, and she has received awards in several countries. Her art has been featured in various publications, including magazines, books, and catalogs. Rukiye Garip is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society and member of the International Master of Watercolor Alliance.
