I. Product Information and Authenticity Guarantee

Artwork Uniqueness and Condition
- Artwork Definition: Artworks displayed on the website are presumed to be original creations by the artist. They are considered original unless the product page explicitly specifies the item as a “Reproduction,” “Print,” or “Limited Edition Copy.”
- Product Status: Artworks are typically unique or limited edition items. Due to the unique nature of art, works may contain natural traces of the artist’s creation or material characteristics.
- Color and Dimensions: We strive to ensure the accuracy of images and size descriptions. However, colors may vary due to lighting, shooting angles, or your monitor settings. Dimensions may have slight discrepancies; the physical item prevails.
- Ownership: Upon completion of the artwork transaction, you acquire ownership of the physical piece and are entitled to use it for personal collection, display, and resale.

Authenticity Guarantee and Documentation
- Authenticity Guarantee: Kai’s guarantees the authenticity of all sold artworks, which are sourced from authorized channels or directly from the artist.
- Supporting Documents: Each successful artwork transaction will be accompanied by a Sales Certificate or Artist-signed Certificate of Authenticity issued by the gallery (depending on the work type). This document is essential proof of the artwork’s authenticity and your ownership.
II. Ordering and Payment Process

Order and Contract Confirmation
- Inventory Status: Due to the unique nature of the artwork, inventory status on the website may be delayed due to offline reservations or transactions. We will contact you within 3 business days of receiving your order to confirm if the work is still available for purchase.
- Order Confirmation: The order is officially confirmed only after you complete the payment and Kai’s issues an “Order Confirmation Notice.”
- Exclusive Rights Clause: Once the order form is signed by both buyer and seller, Kai’s reserves the exclusive right of sale for the buyer during the transaction period. Should the buyer unilaterally or for other reasons terminate the contract, the company will not refund any deposit already paid.

- Domestic Payment (Taiwan only):
- Cash (Limited to in-person payment at the gallery)
- Bank Transfer / Wire Transfer (Please complete the transfer and provide proof of transaction within 3 business days of placing the order.)
- In-person Credit Card Swipe (Limited to on-site payment at the gallery, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, etc.)
- Overseas Payment Methods:
- For international orders, please contact the gallery for consultation. We will provide the most suitable international payment or wire transfer method based on your region and the transaction amount.
- Transaction Fees:
- Any related fees that may arise from the transaction will be explained to you by a representative upon order confirmation.
- Order Cancellation
- If you wish to cancel the order before payment is completed, please contact us immediately.
III. Shipping and Acceptance

Shipping and Fees
- Shipping Calculation: Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout based on the artwork’s size, weight, and destination. International shipping costs will be quoted separately.
- Standard Configuration: The selling price includes the original frame and standard packaging method of the artwork.
- Shipping Time: Artwork requires professional packaging. Domestic shipping typically takes 7-14 business days; international shipping depends on the destination and customs procedures.

Artwork Acceptance
- Acceptance Responsibility: Upon receiving the artwork, you must unbox and inspect the appearance and condition of the artwork immediately in the presence of the logistics personnel.
- Damage Claim: If the artwork is found to have obvious damage, breakage, or incorrect items during transit, please take photographs as evidence immediately and contact Kai’s customer service within 24 hours of receipt. Exceeding this timeframe may affect insurance claims and return/exchange eligibility.
IV. Return and Exchange Policy

Applicable Regulations
- In accordance with Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act, consumers who purchase goods online are entitled to a seven-day appreciation period (not a trial period).
- Return Conditions: The appreciation period starts on the day after you receive the artwork. The returned item must be in brand new condition and complete with all packaging (including all accompanying documents, certificates of authenticity, inner and outer packaging, gifts, etc.).

Specific Exceptions
- The seven-day appreciation period does not apply in the following circumstances:
- Artworks signed for and received more than seven days ago.
- Damage or soiling to the artwork caused by human factors (e.g., improper placement, incorrect cleaning, disassembling the frame).
- Natural traces of the artist’s creation, brushstrokes, or material characteristics inherent to the artwork are not considered defects.
- Customized or specially framed/modified artworks at the consumer’s request.

Return Shipping and Procedures
- If eligible for return, please contact customer service to apply. The return shipping must be handled by a professional art logistics company. The related shipping costs and necessary insurance fees will be borne by the buyer.
- The refund will be processed within 14-30 business days after the artwork is returned to the gallery and confirmed to be in good condition.
